Shalini’s creativity was obvious even as a child.

Growing up in a family owning a precious Jewellery Business of many generations. Shalini’s childhood was spent designing beautiful jewellery with her father.

This early influence with design led to her developing a keen eye for detail and growth as an artist. Her creativity strengthened when she graduated with a Fine Arts Degree from Chitrakala College of Fine Arts in Bangalore – India, with a special interest in Fine Art Painting.

Her pursuit to create art finally became a reality when she decided to quit her teaching profession of 18 years and dive deep into her true passion and mission – To create art that intrinsically connects with the viewer with an “Art to Heart” intent.

Her love for nature and her holistic approach to life is evident in every piece of work. Capturing the mood of the fleeting moment rather than the physical representation is what makes her work special.

From surreal landscapes to abstract florals, Shalini gives every piece of work her very own distinct style.

Her gallery is now open in Marlow – Buckinghamshire and visitors are welcome by appointment.
